Rhi and Michael made a blog! We’re cooking more often, with less money, and hoping to use fresher ingredients.

We are also trying to accommodate a new eating/lifestyle program for Rhi prescribed by Dr. Frank Lipman‘s book “Spent.” This involves a lot of things, and if you’re interested in regaining your lost energy, check it out.  So far, we are working to cut out all refined sugars, gluten, processed foods, hydrogenated oils, and preservatives. This seemed daunting at first but we’re managing and starting to love all our whole organic foods.  Rhi is  feeling so much better–no more constant yawning, much less sneezing, less mood swings, no more deathly cold corpse-like hands,  even less cravings!  If you know Rhi, you know what a difference this makes and how much it has changed her life, even if only for a short time so far.  Cooking and eating are much more enjoyable when it’s part of a lifestyle that means something to you.

Through this blog we’re hoping to document what we’ve made and rate how good it is, how cheap/expensive it is, and where the ingredients come from. Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions on cooking are greatly appreciated.
